The Nymph in the Water Bubble
Wassershow

Downstream from Kaub on the Rhine, lived the last water nymph. She often sat on the rock, combing her golden hair in the moonlight, while she sang with her enchanting voice beautiful melodies that bewitched all who heard them.
Many a boatman who listened to her sweet song could not resist the urge to look up at the nymph, and was so captivated by her beauty that he did not notice the dangers that threatened his boat. And so it often happened that boat and boatman were seized by the treacherous maelstrom, and swallowed up in its depths..
