Be amazed and surprised by the beautiful appearance of “octopus”… a colorful appearance, with 8 tentacles up to 6 meters high and long, provided with accompanying smoke effects and music.
This decorative act is performed both in daylight and in the dark. In the dark, the Octopus is completely illuminated and additionally provided with laser effects, just above the ground surface.
Goal: To spoil and surprise the audience with an imaginative and colorful environment, wrapped in giant tentacles, that appeal to everyone's imagination… old or young! Ambience that melts the hearts and makes us feel admirably small again.

Number of artists: 3
Duration: 3 to 4 hours continually

  • 1 Parking space (as close as possible to the playing area) for 1 van. + 1 Parking space for the closed trailer (at the playing area)
  • Possible surface: solid FLAT surface (e.g. grass, stone, ...) / NO sand or muddy surface.
  • 1 Fire basket with sufficient wood (ONLY for autumn and winter period) next to the tent OR Heating element in the tent!
  • If possible: as little LIGHT and lighting from spotlights and street lamps as possible (extinguish or cover / mask: by the organization)!!!
  • sufficient water and soft drinks + catering for the number of artists.

Setup consisting of:

  • 8 TENTACLES (inflatable / each up to 6 meters high or long)
  • 1 to 2 Smoke machines (Each machine needs power. / 1 ​​Machine = 1500 W.)
  • Music system (max. 1000 W / for accompanying atmosphere, sound and tones)
  • Darkness = 6 to 10 Spots, each on a short pole in the ground (30 cm high / rainproof / each 100 W to 200 W LED light)
  • Darkness = Laser shines just above the ground surface at a few cm high: beautiful magical effect in combination with smoke from the smoke machines
  • Surface / location:
    •  Sufficient space to set up decorations. (Certainly a strip of 20 m by 10 m / 15 m by 15 m minimum!)
    • They adapt their setups to the available space! (This can even be on different parts, corners and sides in each other's direct vicinity! So that the public can walk between the different setups!)
  • Soft surface (grass) NOT SOAKY / NO MUD = The playing surface is marked off with appropriate wooden stakes, linked together with thick white rope. FLAT SURFACE!
  • ON SPECIAL REQUEST: Hard surface (stone) = The playing surface is marked off with 10 barriers, linked together with thick white rope.
  • The audience is NOT supposed to actually walk among the TENTACLES.
    Requirements - Material
  • ALL THE SUPPLIES ARE READY AND SET UP FOR THE ARRIVAL OF THE ARTISTS - (3 HOURS BEFORE THE START OF THE PERFORMANCE)!
  • A tent at the edge of this playing area (minimum 3m by 3m / closed on the sides and back) +
  • in it 2 tables and 3 chairs. + 1 Power outlet (220) in this tent! + 2 Crowd control barriers (NO high HERAS)
  • The tent, table and chairs + electricity can only be cleared away 4 hours after the performance!!!
  • Only with HARD SURFACE: 10 extra crowd control barriers (We cover these with beautiful banners.)
  • 3 Power outlets (220 and EACH ON A SEPARATE CIRCUIT!!!) on the playing area! This is to connect the music system (with magical atmosphere music), as well as the LED spotlights, and the smoke machines! Music system, spotlights and smoke machines are brought and provided by the artists!
