A clown sets off on a journey around the world, together with his turtle.

They take everything they need with them: a tiny flower garden, a fancy costume, many hats to catch sunbeams, and lots of coloured chalk. Together, the Clown and the Turtle turn the world into one big playground, where everyone can dream and colour along.
And then… “Abracadabra!”
The clown sends vegetables, flowers, and even a small tree flying through the air.
Who will catch the flower, the tree… or maybe even happiness?
The artist is from Belgium.

  • A playful, wordless performance in 3 rounds.
  • At the core: humor, interaction, and audience participation.
  • Theme: a gentle floral rebellion and love for (wild) nature.
  • The clown and the tortoise symbolize playfulness and perseverance.
    Practical information:
  • Round 1: chalk drawings → flat, paved surface (no cobblestones).
  • Rounds 2 & 3: planting flowers/herbs → with the audience or in a designated area.
    The route from round 1 may return in rounds 2 and 3, but this is not required.
  • Can take place in multiple locations (with necessary provisions), preferably no uneven cobblestones.
     
  • The organizer provides:
    • A bucket of potting soil.
    • If possible, locally grown perennial flowers/plants/trees/herbs.
    • Preferably in pots of 9 x 9 cm.
       
  • 1 reserved parking space for 1 van with close access to the venue / dressing room and possibility to easily unload and load (other cars optionaly upon agreement). The organizer is responsible for the safety.
  • Dressingroom 1 clean, well-lit private dressing room with access to warm running water and toilet.lockable, the key given to the artist/ crew member (if not, then the organizer is responsible for the safety).
    • Space for  1 -person.
    • Equipment: 1 table, 1 chair (or more according to the number of people), 1 mirror.
    • refreshments and healthy snacks and fruit.
  • If the performance locations are far from each other:
    • An additional party tent (or alternative) along the route, where the artist can rest and reset between two rounds, would be a comfortable plus.
    • Or:The provision of a hand truck/trolley to transport the materials from location A to locations B and C.
  • Catering The catering (drinks & meals) for the artists and crew members is at the expense of the organizer
  • Accommodation (if necessary)When performing for more than 1 day or if the distance is too far an overnight stay is necessary
